I mostly play music. But sometimes I’m asked to speak instead. Thankfully that’s never been caught on video before – painful for me to watch. It’s like listening to your voice on an answering machine times a million.
A church recently rolled tape though and here’s the result: An edited down version of a “talk” I give about what we’re saved for. If you read this blog regularly you’ll no doubt recognize a lot of the content.
We’re hoping that having video like this will help us book me into colleges and churches as a speaker on behalf of Compassion International more easily. Here’s hoping.

Great Video Shaun. Some friends and I are looking at starting a church soon and I think compassion is going to be one of missions emphases.

You give people such a fresh perspective … it’s an awesome video! Angry pastors have made people catatonic—to afraid to live, to afraid to die … like Beckett’s “just waiting for Godot.” They miss the beauty of the world and miss the chance to take care of & love one another.

The average person spends $100/month on soft drinks. That is astounding, given that tap water is practically free.

“Now that you know, what will you do about it?” That’s amazing, all my years in Compassion I don’t remember hearing that before, but I’m going to start using it.
