I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink…Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. -Matthew 25:35,40
Almost one billion people do not have access to safe drinking water. That’s the entire population of the United States…three times.
So they drink what they have – water from ponds and puddles, streams and sewers. And they get sick. From illnesses like cholera and typhoid. And many die. Every 15 seconds a child dies from a water related disease.
Jesus is thirsty.
And we can buy him enough water to last a lifetime. For only $55.
With $55 Compassion International can give a child and her family a Water Of Life filtration system – a reusable sustainable filter that will last a lifetime. With $55 Compassion can provide eduction that will improve hygiene and sanitation as well.
One billion people. Thirsty. And we can give them something to drink. In Jesus’ name.
Give a lifetime of safe water for only $55 here.

Love this effort. A group of us were in Haiti for two weeks and used something similiar to this for most of the time to filter water and none of us got sick. This is amazing. We are currently doing a green earth sustainable challenge at work for about 6 months and the 3 top teams are supposed to receive some money to help with something that helps sustain the earth and it’s people. So far our team has taken first place for 2 months. Please pray that our team members will continue to take this challenge seriously as I am hoping to use some of our winnings for Water of Life! Praying that many will be moved by this message.

Thanks for sharing this opportunity and making it SO easy to give. With just a few clicks a child now has clean water to drink.
Blessings,

We actually support a Compassion child and I’d never heard about this. What the heck are we doing with our money when we can give a family clean drinking water for $55?
Thank you, Shaun, for highlighting this.
