Not long ago I asked my Nashville readers to help spread the word about a benefit concert I was participating in.  Remember?

Well, I heard today that the concert (and auction that night) raised just over $11,000.  That’s money that will help pay medical bills.  The Carlisle family could still use your prayers, of course, when they cross your mind, but their financial needs are a little smaller now thanks to all of you who passed the invite on.  Thanks for that.
