CompassionBloggers.com has launched.
Thanks to Ben Stewart (who built the entire site), Nancy Tyler (who wrote the great copy on the home page), Anne Jackson (who was a fount of great feedback/criticism/ideas/encouragement) and the small army at Compassion International who made sure I said and showed the right things the right ways. (Branding guidelines. Gotta love ‘em.)
So, please, go visit CompassionBloggers.com, read about our next blogging trip, link to us, tell us about yourself, grab a widget or banner and sign-up to blog for Compassion every month.
Thanks.

Shannon’s above you alphabetically in my reader so I read the news from her first… but you did a great job! I’m totally signing up for that November trip (provided I’m not pregnant!) Sometimes it pays to be a SAHM who doesn’t have to worry about vacation days!
The more I see and hear and read about Compassion the more I am soooo glad to be a part of it! I’m proud to say that I’d sponsored a child since 1996!

Hey…I had some questions about Compassion. If I click your “e-mail shaun” link, will you actually write back?
Shaun Groves says:
No.
Yes, of course I will. Just give me time.

Enjoying the access to widgets and delighted there are some smaller ones – those of us with out of a can blogs can’t always fit the coolest stuff in the space available on a template. BUT now I have a nifty corner thingie as well as a nice side bar dealieo. Can’t do trips but will be happy to follow the progress and pray like crazy for releasing children and their families from poverty.
