Harp Magazine says…

The British press is a-twitter with rumors of a Police reunion in the wake of word that rehearsal dates have been penciled in for the trio, presumably in February prior to bassist/vocalist Sting’s upcoming European tour and after drummer Stewart Copeland completes his duties as a judge on the BBC-TV “singing with the stars”-style celebrity duets program “Just the Two Of Us.” Guitarist Andy Summers recently published his memoir of his time with the Police, “One Train Later,” but doesn’t appear to have any outstanding commitments currently.

The proverbial “informed sources” have suggested that a tour will be announced some time in January – presumably it would start in May or June, which is when the Police’s label, A&M, is reportedly planning to release a special 30th anniversary anthology.
