PORN SUNDAY AT THE PEOPLE’S CHURCH JUNE 5

SERVICES ARE AT 9:15 and 11AM

Craig Gross and Mike Foster, founders of XXXchurch.com are coming to Franklin on Sunday June 5.  They are part of a Porn Sunday planned by The People’s Church in Franklin, TN with special Sunday morning services and an evening presentation of a film-documentary “Missionary Positions.”

“Pornography is at saturation levels in our society and still rising,” says senior pastor Rick White.  “I think it is time we talk about it and get it out in the open. The damage it is doing to people’s lives makes it something we can no longer ignore.”

To present Porn Sunday, The People’s Church has invited Craig Gross and Mike Foster, the founders of XXXchurch.com to come and speak to the congregation. XXXchurch is an online ministry that helps people who are struggling with pornography. This highly successful ministry is the subject of numerous television and newspaper reports, including Good Morning America, CNN, and FOX News.

FREE PREVIEW OF DOCUMENTARY:

On Sunday evening June 5 at 6:00pm, the church will present the documentary “Missionary Positions.” This is an amazing film made by an award winning filmmaker about xxxchurch and its two founders’ crusade into the world of porn, says Pastor White. While dealing with very mature and often controversial subject matter, it is also engaging, fun and enlightening. So much so that it is fast becoming a hit on the international film festival scene. Major Hollywood distributors are negotiating to put the film in regular theaters later in the year.  Following the documentary, there will a Q & A with Mr. Gross and Mr. Foster.

FILM FOR MATURE AUDIENCES:

Admission to film is free. A Question and Answer session will take place after the film. Due to the content and rating of the film, the screening is primarily for adults (17 years old and up; 16 yrs. and younger will require a parent or permission form).
