Actually take the time to go see a doctor about the weird tingling sensation in my limbs, not to mention this nasty chest congestion. ‘Cause, you know, my body’s supposed to be God’s temple, not the thing that Mom takes care of last.
Alex Green says:
sleep!
Funkymunkee says:
Do all the things I want to do, as well as all of those I have to do.
Megan says:
I would find a way to travel more with my children. I want them to see true beauty outside their own world, and understand generational, desperate poverty and know the other children Christ loves and died for. I want them to understand what mercy and compassion are from a true “end-user” perspective. They hear the lesson and know “mom, dad & God say I am supposed to give.” I want them to hear the hearts of others, who aren’t as overly, abundantly, ridiculously blessed. I want them to develop their own understanding of the deep needs of social justice, understand truth and know that those Christ loves must be fed and healed before they can begin to understand hope. We need more time in the midst of school, work, business and busy-ness. Those who are dying of hunger and easily cured illnesses do not have time, and often do not have school, work, business and busy-ness. They are simply hungry and dying.

As long as ever you can.โ -John Wesley

Laura says:
I’d like to say something like pray more, give more…etc…but really it would be spend more time with my sister.
JessicaB says:
I don’t need more time. I have plenty of the stuff now and I waste it!
JessicaB says:
Addendum:
What I’d like to do with my wasted time is –
Catch up on my own school work.
And play the guitar more.
Shayne says:
…probably waste it. But in Fantasyland…where my heart truly dwells 95% of the time…I would learn more about music theory and practice the piano.
Ta-Da! The end.
lulub says:
I would take more time for myself without feeling guilty about it and form more friendships. Being a mom of 6, it’s easy to make excuses about why you aren’t doing things to remember that you are a women who needs to feel good about yourself instead of your life revolving 100% around your family at all times.
kristin says:
Travel more.
Scrapbook more.
Help more children.
Write more.

…struggle with being a good steward of it as I do with the time I have now.

I can’t blame a lack of time for a whole lot in my life, but I can blame a lack of discipline, efficiency, focus and courage. As I’m chipping away at those issues, I’m finding my days, mind and living and working spaces a little less cluttered. I have such a long way to go, but by God’s grace, I’m inching along in the right direction!

I’m right there with ya! I have too much time sometimes, and I don’t use it productively.

Princess Leia says:
probably waste it. But it greatly depends on the quality of the time. If it was just more hours in the day when I was home with the kids…eh…the microwave _might_ get cleaned. If it were truly “alone” time, I’d probably read/nap/bubble bath (probably not all at once). I’d love for hubs to have more time at home to get the things off his mental to-do list so that he could relax more.
Amy @ My Friend Amy says:
Like others, I currently have as much time as I could ask for, but I still wish I had more.

fill in the blank!
As JessicaB says, I have plenty of the stuff. Choosing what to do with it is the tricky bit
Angie says:
so much ambivalence here in your comments. But as a mom of young kids, my answer is knee-jerk – spend time with people!!!

JLI says:
…quit saying I wish I had more time.
We’re given the same number of hours every single day, we just don’t choose to use them wisely. As with all things God has created, a 24 hour day is perfectly enough. And as is the case with many things in my life, good stewardship tends to take a back seat all too often. Time included.
thomas says:
I really do not need any more time. I need to be more efficient with my time. But, if I was given more time this morning it would be for sleep. Otherwise, it would be finish the to be read pile that seems to be growing faster than I can read it.

Heather EV says:
More than anything…I would pray longer.
jen says:
Learn to throw pots on a wheel or maybe catch up on the scrapbooks that I’ve started for my kids. . . both things that I would love to do, both fairly low on the priority list.
I feel like as a homeschooling mom of four who enjoys her marriage/spending time with her husband I’m doing a decent job of being a good steward of my time . . . but it is fun to think about what I would do if I didn’t spend all my time planning lessons, doing laundry, cooking, cleaning, doing those lessons, and just simply keeping up with life as I currently know it. Sometimes I think, “Someday I’ll get to these things,” then I realize that someday I’ll hopefully be busy changing the world in other ways.
Kris says:
I would get my home clean/organized so I could feel comfortable entertaining friends at the drop of a hat.
Working outside the home 50+ hours a week I seem to leave that on the back burner more than I should. I would rather spend my time at home with my hubby and little man.
Krlli says:
Honestly?
Make sure I got a shower everyday and shaved my legs. I am a mom. That gets put on the back burner too often ๐
Just keeping it real.
Tj says:
I would enjoy it.
jay sauser says:
work out.
Sarah says:
Believe me, as a frazzled mom of 4 little girls, 3 of which are barely 3 & under, I have thought about this often. Unlike most of your other commenters, I don’t have nearly enough time to do all the things I need/want/have to do and find myself wishing for more hours in the day almost every day. Here is my very practical fill-in-the-blank (in order):
-spend more time with the Lord, specifically studying His word.
-invest more time in planning & preparing healthy, delicious meals for my family
-Exercise more often & actually make an effort to take care of myself.
Yep, that’s exactly what I would do if I had more time. Now… do you know where I can find more time?!?! ๐

To all nonstop mums: God loves you just the way you are. He doesn’t want to heap guilt onto your shoulders. You’re doing great – focus on his face – and keep up the good work xxx

look my kids in the eyes when they talk to me…instead of trying to listen and “do” at the same time.
{i know i don’t need more time to do this…it’s just what’s on my heart today…}
Carole Turner says:
Go back to college.

…I would sell it. Times are tough right now.

Holly says:
Pray more.. and serve more… I suck at giving in a real, giving of myself, scarificial way… and here I sit at a computer.. wasting the time I could be giving…
Nina says:
write more letters. there is something so sweet about snail mail.
Lisa Smith @stretchmarkmama says:

Kyle says:
Think of what I would do if I had more time.
Kelli says:
Can I have more time AND money? Because if I had both I would take my children to Russia and work in an orphanage several times a year.
Kit says:
I would raise money for causes. Like this:

Ken Summerlin says:
. . . take a nap.
Josh says:
I would spend more time building relationships with others, along with praying for more wisdom.
Sara says:
Spend it in prayer, that is one area of my walk that I without a doubt neglect…and I feel it.
