Cleaning Up After Ida

Some footage from El Salvador, taken just a few days after Hurricane Ida hit. My apologies to the people there for just now posting it and asking you to help them out. Please do.

Gracias.

First up, a tour of one home destroyed by Ida. (Thanks to Keely for letting me take her camera through barbed wire, huge spiders and mucho mud.)

Next, a couple updates from Guillermo, the Country Director for Compassion International in El Salvador. (Thanks to Dan and Patricia for shooting this.)

Last, I’ve posted this before, but I’m doing it again because I think it does a pretty good job of showing how working only through local churches enables Compassion International to be an effective “first responder” in disaster situations like this.

Click here to give to Compassion’s Disaster Relief Fund. Thanks for helping churches in El Salvador rebuild their neighborhoods and lives. Any amount helps. Nothing’s too small. Thank you, and please, spread the word.
