My pastor writes…
Judy passed away early this morning in her home. So many questions boggle my mind today – as they have for this entire last year. So many “why’s” … so few answers.
It’s imperative, on a day like today, for us to lean into the words of Jesus – and rely on his wisdom when our understanding falls short. As He was preparing to leave this earth, He told his friends – “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” (John 14:1-3)
He came and got Judy this morning.
Thank you to everyone here who prayed for Judy, her kids and her husband over the last year and helped them get away together. Please continue praying, for what I don’t know, as Judy’s friends and family and church keep on living.

Wow.
This whole thing has been so moving. I will pray that they continue to find comfort in the God who never abandons us.
RevJeff says:
It is exactly at these moments when FAITH makes a difference. So even when we know not how to pray… the Spirit interprets our hearts and God willuse those prayers to do what He wills in this grief/hope/healing.
