Kat and a bunch of other bloggers have created a site called Inspired To Action. The name explains it all. They’re currently posting pieces of an interview I did with them. Go check it out and browse the older posts while you’re there. You’ll be inspired.

Shaun, thanks for the mention. And thanks for the thoughtful answers you gave – I really enjoyed reading what you had to say.

Hey, I checked out the sight and thought it was great! I will check it regularly!
I was inspired last night by a missionary who spoke at our church. He works with the indigenous tribes in Panama. The people there are starving. A lot of their kids die from starvation before age 5. Most of their food consists of rice. The missionary has a degree in fisheries wildlife management and a masters is aquaculture. He hikes 10 miles into the mountains in rugged terrain to get to their villages. There he has introduced a fast growing fish species into the ponds that he and others dug by hand.
He said the people there rarely smile. And how can you tell them there is a God who loves them when they don’t have food and have every imaginable disease. He said he has to meet their physical needs first, and through his compassion on them they will see the love of Jesus. I was inspired!
Since I am also a wildlife biologist my husband and I plan to go there next to summer to help……if I don’t chicken out!
