I think of this, hands like these, and hours like these, women bent all over the world, over basins, by rivers… every time I blithely throw a load in the washing machine and go read a book aloud to my kids.
Who am I? To be graced with a life like this?

The reminder is so needed. Physically, I could not do what she is doing to provide for my family- I feel so blessed to still be able to care for my family’s needs with my limits and yet my heart goes out to what that women does on a regular basis for her family.

no words for this. i will no longer grumble when i have 4 baskets of CLEAN clothes to fold. i will fold with a humble heart.
