Ouch! I think they might need a new ball. I don’t know much about buying a soccer ball, but I’d be willing to donate!
saw Kevin Carroll speak at Blissdom in Nashville – he’s a play advocate and trades kids all over the world red, rubber balls for theirs (he has amassed quite a collection of unique balls) – the ball construction is quite ingenious & resourceful of the kids, I think … wonder what we would make ours out of here – money & bubble gum, perhaps?
Thanks for posting this picture Shaun! It reminds me of my year in Kenya. I played futbol with the kids every Saturday and we used balled up garbage bags just like these!
Fun times. You guys are bringing back a lot of memories from my year there.
