When I read this Chapter (9) in Crazy Love, I actually thought of you, Shaun....you are another excellent example to us of someone who is living this way. I think I'll add you and your story to my book!

You all really should check out the blog and bio of Katie Davis. This girl just turned 21 I think, and she's living the love of Christ.

I have been very convicted by this book. I followed you on your India trip and plan on dialing in tonight as well. I am leaving Sat for Uganda for 5 weeks. This will be my 2nd trip. Keep on loving the Lord!

Wow, Sean, this post was pretty awesome! Not only am I following all you bloggers in El Salvador, but I'm also doing the Book Club as well.

When you guys were in India, we decided as a family to give up cable so that we could sponsor a child (and in turn, giving up cable has had a truly positive impact on us...we are so much closer now!).

And, reading Crazy Love has taken me down some dark roads of realization over the past 2 months...it's so easy to want remain in the land of ignorance, but how can anyone after reading such a book? Truth be told, I've had to admit to myself that I'm no where near the kind of Christian I hope to someday become.

It was good to get your take on Chapter 9...God bless you all on your trip!

I've thought for a while now that "common sense" is Satan's ultimate and most insidious weapon.

Powerful examples, Shaun - which does not leave us powerless - excluding us from action and keeping us down on our "butt".
