Not only would we cease from all our works, but we would reflect back on what God has done and be satisfied in Him, with Him, and for Him - which I think is part of what you are saying. I'll bet that's part of it, but I'd never thought about His rest being a statement of completion and satisfaction. That makes sense. I'm never satisfied. I know I'm not God so I'll never get it right or perfect this side of heaven. But I guess I can still rest in Him and in His satisfaction that I am His child and I want to do what He's asked me to do each day.
