I read this post last night, with the baby sleeping behind me in her crib. (Her nursery is also my office.) I almost woke her, trying to stifle the laughter.

Have I said yet how happy I am that Becky got to go on this trip? Yea God.

She kept showing Sweety that she was trustworthy and eventually Sweety came around. Reminds me of how God never gives up on us in hopes that we’ll come around.

What an awesome post! Such a great perspective Shaun! The whole “life threatening theme” of the day just made me laugh out loud!

And just as point of information for this sheltered white girl from CA...what is the mark on her forehead? I’ve seen lots of the children in the photos have them. I thought it was just women who wear that and that it indicates they are married. But on small children methinks it means something else…

Like Lindsay, I went through a wide range of emotions reading this one post… Did she finish her meal? I loved the “Jesus gave me too much!”, I’d seen that in an earlier post somewhere, too precious.

It makes me wonder what it will be like when I meet the two girls I sponsor (Honduras).
