…I am covered by the “and friends.” I will be there Sunday to speak about Compassion International with the crowd before the music gets going. And to hang a little I hope with Cindy and Travis again. And become Beth Moore‘s newest bestest friend.
Seriously, I’m extremely grateful that Travis asked me to be part of this night and share Compassion with the rather large audience at this live recording. (What’s 10-20% of a gojillion?) Gladly.
Anyone here planning on being there?

I just looked at that poster an hour ago and saw the Compassion logo on the bottom. I wondered then if you were somehow involved. Glad to hear that you will be. Not that I will be. Pout. But SoCal is nowhere near greater Atlanta, so I’ll just have to wait for the CD to come out. Have a great time! Looks to be a fantastic evening.
I’ve already gotten lost in the church. Be sure to bring some bread crumbs.
See you there!
I can’t begin to tell you how jealous I am—the great music, the great Bible study, great fellowship (even considered a “friend”), and the icing on the cake—getting to speak to a crowd about Compassion! Wow. Only in my dreams. Blessings on you, brother!
Even though you’re a guy, pay attention when Beth speaks. I guarantee you’ll learn lots. She is without a doubt my favorite Bible teacher.
I wish I could be there but “Hotlanta” is a bit far away from here for me too.
Ugh!! I’m in Macon and Woodstock is a little over 100 miles from here. Too far for a Sunday night, but so close that I’ll be just sick about not being there!! I did email your “guy” about coming here for a Compassion night. He said only if something else opens up in the area. Hmph! Well, I’ll tell Third Day and Brandon Heath you said hello when I get to meet them here in April!
Feel fortunate to be among “and friends.”
“My character isn’t even important enough for a last name.”
(Movie quote.)
Now see, if you hadn’t of said anything, I wouldn’t have thought a thing about it. From this distance, if I blur my eyes, Beth Moore could have come very close for passing as you, back in your big hair days – easy. If not her, then the guy on the far left, upstage, with left hand raised.
Didn’t Beth Moore’s father go to WTBC?
No, but my hologram will be there. His name is Bill and you probably won’t notice him. He’s the most transparent hologram I’ve ever seen.
I was there and watched as God raised 350 hands to say that they were interested in signing up to sponsor a compassion child.
Great music, great worship and great eternal rewards.
what a night.
I was there Shaun and it was more than fabulous!! We started sponsoring Sofia in Uganda when Boomama and y’all went last year. To see your pictures on the screen and hear you share your heart Sunday night…..my goodness…I’m so honored to help Sofia along the way.
Blessings~
