I’m not getting much work done so far this week. I type a little, then check Brian’s* Twitter feed. Talk a little, then check Brian’s* Twitter feed. Eat, then check Brian’s* Twitter feed. Write some more, then…you get the idea. I’m a junky, checking in constantly, hoping for another update. It’s painful to be all the way over here while my family is growing hundreds of miles away on a distant continent.
I wish I could be there to get schooled in soccer by Yeneneh and be charmed out of my chocolate by Sosy. My new niece and nephew will be home in another month and it’s hard to only read about them between now and then.
It’s an advent isn’t it? Waiting before we meet face to face. And all I know of them is made out of words, but not enough of them.
Get to know the newest members of my family by following Brian’s blog and his twitters. And please pray for a hassle free adoption process, or the patience to work through anything less.

*In case you don’t know, Brian is my brother-in-law. He’s married to my wife’s sister Amy. Or as Brian explains it to folks: His kids can look like my kids but his kids can’t look like me and my kids can’t look like him.

I found your blog, I mean shlog, from Amy’s site. We were in youth together. It would help my productivity during the day if updates could run on a ticker at the bottom of my computer screen. I constantly check his blog & FB too. I can’t wait to see pics. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who borders on stalker.
