There’s nothing more unfunny than having to explain that you were being funny. Or attempting to be. But I was.
Not everyone’s laughing.

If it makes you feel any better, I got it.
Shaun,
I am still cracking up. I guess not all have a sophisticated sense of humor.
I laughed.
Although it took me until “Democrats don’t love Jesus” to get the humor.
RE: “Not everyone’s laughing.” Not all have the gift of interpretation.
You were born in the wrong country! You need emigrate to the UK, we’ll get all your sarcastic jokes, and if we don’t we’ll just laugh with you anyway!
I don’t always “get” what you write – but I actually did “get” the Labor Day April Foolishness. One big problem in the blogosphere is the lack of humor – if it isn’t embarrassing, titillating (golly I rarely find an opportunity to use that word thanks), or just plain vulgar – somehow folks online just don’t see the humor. Might be the lack of vocal clues, facial clues and/or getaclues.
I laughed. I laughed hard. I’m still laughing.
Planning on seeing you in Tuscola this weekend (at least I think you’ll be in Tuscola this weekend)
I also got it. And laughed. Really really hard.
Thanks for keeping things light and letting the silliness shine…
it often makes my day.
Now that is fricken hil-arious! By the way you owe me big time! Will explain later…
You can’t leave me hangin’ like that, Shawn.
I thought it was funny too. Of course, I do have the give of interpretation as well as the gift of sarcasm so I’m set.
Beth
Shaun,
I would be more than happy to explain the above, it will either be by email or by phone, either one I have and you have, this just isn’t the venue for that discussion.
Hey Shaun,

Even I thought it was funny. So the others really have no excuse.
