The only thing I can really remember about him is that he wrote a “Star Trek” skit for the talent show. We all had to be in it. We each had our little pin-on communicators and our homemade phasers. He actually had a ST uniform. </p> <p> Anyway, as nerdy as he was, he is now a police officer in our hometown. I joined FB a few months ago and have really enjoyed finding fiends like that and discovering that the friend who couldn’t keep their 10th grade health class egg safe past the first three hours now has four kids, or that the kid who was so certain he would go into the ministry actually DID get ordained and started a church in his home.  Reconnecting like that with people who were once so central in my life has been a really fun thing in the last few months. </p> What a great post!
