If someone gave you twenty-four extra hours this week, what would you do with them?

Watch meaningful stuff on TV
Save the world…again.
listen to my shaun groves party playlist on my ipod while reading shlog word-for-word.
Write a new song on the injustice I’ve seen recently.
brody…you would. haha
Sleep! With a 9-month old child at home who is extra-hungry-at-2:00-am , I need it!
i have no idea. but i am absolutely sure that something would come up very quickly and easily to fill it.
Hmmmmm….what would I do or what would I want myself to say and do?
Figure out how much stuff I can have automatically posted to my blog so I don’t have to actually log-in for a week. No really…
I’d go furniture shopping.
I’d love to say sleep, but I’d probably just do more work.
when would I receive such time?
if it fell between today and tomorrow i would work on my lesson for tomorrow night’s youth gathering.
if it fell between wednesday and thursday i would waste it.
if it fell between thursday and friday i would clean my apartment spotless for my guest.
if it fell between friday and saturday i would use it to remember what in the world i committed to on saturday.
work on the EP!
I’m in a unique situation anyway, because I am not in school and don’t have a job or any bills as I’m living with my sister and her family. 24 extra hours would probably just mean more reading my bible, more watching her children, and inevitably more sanding, staining and clear-coating doors.
Hmmm… I would use it for some time catching up on reading and planning. It seems like as much as I need to do those things, it never happens except in the spare moments I can fit them in.
That, and I would hang out with friends, given that they had the extra 24 hours as well.
Hang out with my wife and kids the whole time.
Catch up on piano practices, work on projects I need to get done, maybe share the rest with the people in my life who need more time!
Study – exams start next Wednesday for me – if this wonderful blessing of more time comes after exams – sleep would be the answer of course.
Write write write.
(as you can tell, my writing isn’t very gud)
rest and craft and read. Sweet rest.
I do not usually comment but this one got to me for some reason. I would love to be able to say I would do something great, wonderful, and impactful and value every extra second. But the truth is I would probably waste it. I would probably fill it with things that are unimportant. Or fill it with the things that I allow to take my thoughts off God, family, and friends on a daily basis already. This post just made me think how valuable every moment we have can be. We need to make the most of the time we are given.
