I would give it to my husband’s grandmother, who is having a hard time making ends meet lately and almost had her water shut off last month because she couldn’t pay it. (She finally asked her son for help and he gladly paid it for her.) We are contemplating how we can pay some of her bills ahead a little bit so she can spend less time worrying.
Put it towards Christmas presents, maybe see if any of my friends need something I could help them with, save any leftovers for a possible ski trip this winter.
Unfortunately I’d probably put it towards Christmas presents, though I know there’s so much more I could do with it.
Put it towards paying off our, stupidly, accumulated debt so we can get it paid off that much sooner and start using the money the way God intended.

Put it towards me trying to start a non profit organizaiton.
Subsist.
Split it into 10 bucks each and give it to Compassion international so they can buy at least a 10 dollar gift for 5 kids.
If I’m honest and realistic, I’d probably waste both the 50 bucks and the 24 hours.
I would use it for tuition.
Rent, groceries, Visa bill – take your pick
Put it towards either a Christmas present for family or a guitar pedal for me. OK OK, the pedal.
Debt.
I owe 25 dollars to 2 friends. So I’d pay that off.
I owe a guy 15 dollars for gas so there’s that.
I’d buy my secret sister one last present–knitting needles. $2
I’d use 1 dollar to buy a sweet tea from McDonalds.
2 dollars does two loads of laundry
And then I’d wonder where it all went, and wonder why I’m so consumer-driven.
Heh…funny you should ask. I lost the keys to my office, so I would give the money to the office to get new keys made.
Actually, I am struggling to make ends meet after moving into a new apartment. I told my friends at Bible study about my need tonight, and they gave me $130.
