Tonight I’m speaking at Origins Church NYC’s Chelsea campus. This morning I was at their Upper West Side campus for two services. It went well – I think.
This evening’s service is held in a German speaking Lutheran Church’s sanctuary – a two hundred year old cathedral. Wooden pews. Kneeling benches. Stained Glass. Stunning.
Pictures to come.

No stadium seating? No bistro tables? No screens and powerpoints? Gee, how can you get any ministry done there?????
*still snarling over my church’s building fund sales pitch today*

I know there’s probably no scientific basis for this, but when I’m in churches like that, I feel closer to God. Kinda like being up in the mountains or next to the creek, etc.

I agree completely with Beth.
